To my Friends, Colleagues, and Patients-
Change is hard. After much soul searching I am taking advantage of an opportunity to change the focus of my career.I have accepeted the position of Director of Palliative Care at Abington Hospital. Hospice and Palliative Medicine has always been a part of my life along with my main focus on Primary Care. However, I am moving to this position saying goodbye to all the patients, friends, and families that have been a part of me since I finished my Family Practice Residency some 31 years ago. I will no longer be practicing medicine at NWGFM after June 30, 2013. I have every confidence that the practice will continue to provide the excellent care that I have been proud to be a part of these many years. To some of you, this will not be a big surprise, others may feel otherwise. My partners, colleagues, and I will do everything to assure as smooth a transition as possible. My friends, this journey continues for us all. Change is good.
